Scores


Langgaard's scores bear witness to a composer who was very temperamental, yet at the same time had a very well-devloped aesthetic sense. Several of his final manuscripts are of very high calligraphic quality, revealing a uniform and very personal style of writing music. In his productive periods, however, Langgaard seldom had time to pay attention to the writing process, and these periods are marked by a certain carelessness.
